One weekend you're blasting through the mountains on a 2 moto snow bike at the coquihalla summit, and the next you're dodging dust and rocks up a gnarly valley bottom trail in Silver Creek!  Springtime in BC is a wonderful time of year!  People are breaking in new bikes and dusting the cob webs off older ones and hitting the hills.  I had my first 2moto snow bike experience the weekend of March 7th and had my eyes opened to a new world.  I arrived with probably the same skeptisism that most new-comers have, but it didn't take long for me to see the light.  I hopped aboard a Honda CRF450 with the 2 moto kit and joined our riding group on our trek up the mountain.  We spent the day playing in powder and testing the limits of the snow bikes.  I was surprised to see how well the bikes powered up deep powder hills and stuck to the steep side hills much like a regular dirt bike would in dry conditions.  The weekend ended well with some new friends made and a DMX (direct motocross article in the works).  Look for the 2 moto demo article on DMX soon with professional photographs courtesy of Steve Shannon Photograpy!

A week later Steve and I found ourselves dodging rocks, dust, and leaves up at the Silver Creek riding area near Salmon Arm in BC's North Okanagan.  The Silver Creek trails were already in fine form and it proved to be ther perfect opportunity to break in my new bike (LOFC) Little Orange Forest Creature...the second!  (Thanks Valley Motosports and KTM!)  A great day in the sunny Okanagan riding dirt bikes with friends, it's hard to beat that!  I wrapped up the last couple days by taking time out to watch the arena cross finals in Penticton, thanks to friend John for his ticket connections, and now I'm eagerly waiting for LOFC to return with her new pipe guard so that I can get things together for another weekend of riding!
