2010 ISDE in the books!

You'd be surprised how hard it is to find an internet connection for decent amount of time when you live out of camper on your way back from the Six Days! We are currently in Vegas, still making our way home from the race, awaiting a new clutch for the truck! I plan to put together a little story outlining the most entertaining aspects of my very first six days, and until I can do that, I hope a short update on here will be enough to keep Maa back home in Cherryville happy! Besides, I know Steve Shannon's updates reached quite a few people back home including directmotocross.com so most interested parties received the readers digest version of the race! Leading up to the start of the Six Days we encountered more drama than a full season of The Young and the Restless! Once the race actually got going it was a battle to keep fluids in my body and battle the course which turned out to be PNWMA technical after days 1 & 2 were out of the way. International doctors and a ton of excellent support got me through the hard times, and after 5 unbelievable days full of bizzare surprises, the 2010 ISDE ended on the morning of day 6 with some sombering news. Nevertheless, it was a great success and a bronze medal will now hang on my wall at home with my Team Canada jersey! The entertaining story of the Mexican Six Days will come in the near future depending on how well I can learn to pirate unsecure internet connections for the remainder of our trip home! Thanks to everyone who has been behind me the entire time and to all of the new friends and support I have gained along the way. Now off to sneak into another parking lot for some free camping!
